This is a pessimistic one. Don’t read on a bad day.

The world seems so much calmer now

The panic died down and now we hide

Earth breathes as past would not allow

Nature mends itself without us outside

We cower and bundle ourselves in fear

We retreat deep into our little homes

As we hide in the dark the skies clear

While outside fearless wildlife roams

Our planet turns on us now and then

But we have betrayed our Earth in turn

So now it shall claim it’s own once again

And soon in the future we shall return

We haven’t taken care of our planet, this place

But it shall take care of us, the human race
