How can you choose who lives and dies

how can you trade life for money

with such ease and a toothy smile

how easy it must have been for you

to justify worse when such things existed

how do you keep people behind you

as you spout such horrible things

as you kill off your own one by one

without so much as a flinch only careful

that you don’t get blood on your shirt

at the very least have the decency

 to wash your hands of our blood

for a minimum of twenty seconds
